Role Description
Digistepz is seeking a Social Media Assistant. As a small CIC, our social media presence is crucial, and as a Social Media Assistant, you will play an important role in managing our online platforms and significantly impacting our services’ increasing demand.
You will engage in various activities such as creating and curating engaging content for our social media channels, scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring and responding to comments and messages, and analysing social media metrics to optimise our online presence.

What are we looking for?
This position is perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys building relationships online and has skill in using Canva to create visually appealing social media graphics. Experience in managing social media accounts and writing captivating captions is key. We are looking for a creative and motivated individual, with marketing skills being desirable but not necessary.
The Social Media Assistant will be expected to commit 5 hours a week to the role, to be done in one day or divided as necessary. Regular attendance at 1-to-1 meetings with the CEO or relevant teams is necessary, but these will be scheduled to everyone’s best interest. This role is fully remote and voluntary.

Essential Attributes:
- Good writing and project management skills
- Experience working in social media management or marketing environment
- Knowledge of Canva or similar graphic design tools
- Excellent communication skills and team working skills
- Proactivity and ability to work independently and ask for clarification when needed
